For me the Fair Tax is better than what America has now - a system that works to favour big corporations and creates the illusion of fairness (note the spelling of favour - I'm Canadian). Is it perfect? No. Nothing is perfect. If we could start from square one, I'd favour a system that brought in enough revenue to pay cops and firemen and the military fairly, looked after people between jobs and paid for health care for the disabled. That's it.

I see Beck as a guy who started life as a Democrat who became rich and successful and voted for the party that served his interests. When he realized America wasn't what he thought, he started talking about it. For sure, he favors a corporate America, but I honestly don't think he knows it.

As a libertarian Canadian, I'm not pissed that Beck doesn't totally agree with Ron Paul on EVERYTHING. I appreciate that he, like Bill O'Reilly, can have an interview and not pretend to be unbiased. They have a discussion with another person and you know exactly where both people stand and they're both being truthful and you can make your own deduction from there. I disagree with Beck on a lot, but every interview he's done he's been fair and honest. I appreciate that even if I disagree with him
