Hitachi DZHV1074 MACRO Mode Demonstration 1

This is to show the results of the Hitachi DZHV1074 full HD webcam in MACRO-mode. It is doing a better job in video-mode than in photo-mode. The reason is that the camera has to keep adjusting the fcous - and as you can see it is doing a fine job, but in camera mode, you only have one split second, and unfortunately when you push the shutter to take a photo the movement of this action and the time it takes from pushing the shutter to the actual taking of the photo, the focus may not be sharp any more. But I am very pleased with this result. This video is 180 Mb - in the full HD 30 FPS mode, for a full 3 minutes.

the only problem i had with this cam is that it dosent zoom with qaulits yes its really not loud when filming but i must say when im doing my close up reptile work its awsome!!!! im not 100 happy with my cam which is the same one as yours ....but im going off to but the canon 550D slr camerait filmes in 1080p and has an external mic jack 3.5mm and the hot shoe mount on top so its a nice camera thanks SBD
