A film I started 25 years ago, and finished yesterday. Roger McGough's poem, "If life's a lousy picture..."

Here's the poem as written:

If Life's a Lousy Picture, Why Not Leave Before the End,

Don't worry
One night we'll find that deserted Kinema
The torches extinguished
The Cornish ripples locked away in the safe
The tornoff tickets chucked
In the tornoff shotbin
The projectionist gone home to his nightmare

Don't worry
That film will still be running
(the one about the sunset)
& we'll find two horses
tethered in the front stalls
& we'll mount
& we'll ride off into our happy ending

That's great - a slow train coming though. Do you have any other films from the eighties that you can reconstruct? Do have any featuring a mournful clarinet soundtrack and a deserted beach?

Your typewriter is WAY better than mine HAHA. Great video. I have heard of the film Atonement. I will definitely check it out. It seemed like a very great drama...a little sick too, haha.
