I think the late empire's problem was a string of weak incompetent leaders and a practice of paying rather than fighting invaders. People started seeing Rome not as a power to be feared, but a endless pot of gold to be plucked at whim. Had Rome instead used that money to equip their armies, and levy plebeians, they may yet have endured.

at 2:40 those men are Dac's from Dacia,my ancestors,i recognize by the hats (i don't know why they are shirt-less) they managed to destroy several Roman legions and were the biggest threat for Rome,they were defeated in 101,105 by still only 30% of the country was occupayed

Where are the roman phalanx from the age of the monarchy? and you forgot to add some pictures from the legions before the reforms of mario, the hastatus, triarius and princeps also the velites.
