How exactly did you manufacture that cupchimes? Did you just cut the bell out of a bunch of crashes?

I think you're a Gavin Harrison's great fan xD the way you play and the set up...

Just accidentally ran across your vids...normally, I dont steal anything from anyone...but I must admit it...Im in the process of stealing some of your "grooves and riffs"...Love your style~ you play really tight and youre one of the few drummers that knows how to "let it breathe" and what dynamics are and how to utilize it for the best effect. Thanks for posting dude...

Hey man, just wanted to say thanks for the mini chime idea. I cracked my 16" sabian crash and cut it down to a 5" mini chime, it's sweet haha :)

Hey man
Awesome sound and fills!
Was wondering what drum mics you are using? Is it a set or a mixture of brands?
They sound the business!!!

Damn, that micing equipment aint bad.

AHA! You cut down cymbals to just like I did. Gavin being my favorite drummer I always admired his bells so my dad and I cut out the bells from all our 20 or more broken cymbals. Its great to see someone else do it.

your chimes also sound really nice :) did you make them yourself from old chrashes? ^^

subscribing you any without doubt! your playing is just a pure beaty
great quality, man. good playing as well, i really like your hats. did you change the sound of them while mixing at all?

thanks man, aside from a high-pass filter there's nothing changed about the hihats. Some engineers will boost overheads and hats at around 10khz to get more sparkly sound, but I was happy with them without any modifications.

that's a 16" wuhan or similar (cheap cymbal!)
check the "more info" off to the side, and you'll see a full setup breakdown.
take care!

i'd prefer a bit dryer snare, better for ghosting. but that's my opinion :]
