Hope you like the song. Your comments and ratings are very much appreciated. This is a quick version of the David Crosby tune Almost Cut My Hair, showing the composition of both the acoustic and lead guitar segmens.

  • Thanks, great. Helpful. Couple of things, though. Video of Crosby playing this solo acoustic is the 3 chords you ID for the verse, but then he extends down the neck, making it a more complicated part. You just hold on D there. For the lead, the studio version has both Stills and Neil on lead. I peg Stills on left channel, Neil on right. What you do is mostly Stills part, but you do some of the Neil/right side lead, in particular the dual notes. Live their roles vary. Credit where credit's due.

  • It realy is an art GREAT!

  • you are a star.thnx for this bud i'm gonna work it to death.cheers

  • Steve thanks for sharing. You are more useful that those fuckin politicians around!

  • You've got a real nice Crazy Horse kinda sound going. I like it, it's good.

If you ever have the time could you do a cool Lou Reed song?

Thanks for the excellent lesson and kind regards from Holland.

  • thats so awesome man! im going to try to eventually get there haha
