  • I love Annick Massis !!!!!!

One of the best on the planet!!

Thank you for posting the fantastic performance of this aria !

L'Italie l'a accueillie à bras ouverts, on comprends pourquoi ....

  • this is SUBLIME!

  • Beautiful fluting voice, but needs a little work on the technique. Having said that I would rather listen to her than most modern singers.

  • Actually, it's called a faulty technique. Still, she could be an awful lot worse. I'm spoilt in that I've listened to the Sutherland, over...and over....and over again. I'll never choose to listen to Massis, I don't like the sounds favoured by the French school, but I suppose I ought to be less harsh. Still, that was an impressive crack!

  • It's called a "live recording" and sometimes the imperfections which are in the real world come out. Maybe you would be happier with the electronically engineered perfection of studio recordings.
