No, wait. No it's not. I think the composer for Megaman X was the one who did the music for BoFII. If I remember correctly, it was Yoko Shimomura who composed for this one, actually.

I don't know why all RPGs don't change the battle theme halfway through the game. When you pop out of the ocean after being down there forever and its like HELL YESSSS

@dss103 Generic? IMO Breath Of Fire has one of the most unconventional casts of any RPG, hardly generic.

This was such a classic tale and although yes it was generic, it was the best generic RPG out there at the time. Also this song is one of my all time favorite battle themes.
