I would not recommend this product based off my experience.

  • Hi - Unfortunately the model you saw in the infomercial that charges in 30 min is the Lithium WORXGT model (WG151). The model you show in the review is a NiCad trimmer that requires 3-5 hours to charge (WG150). Additionally you should charge the battery overnight before using the tool the first time to prevent damaging the battery. Please read the instruction manual for proper care and charging for the specific model you purchased. We would be happy to help you if you have a damaged unit.

  • @WorxTools I did charge the battery overnight before taking it back. I gave it over 24 hours to charge and still had the same results. The video shows that battery after about 2.5 hours of charging. Even if it is supposed to take 3-5 hours it should of had more juice that when I last used it. I bought another product for half the price that gets the job done a lot better.

  • Yeah I just stick with the good ol' gas powered trimmer. And I don't know why they try to make them sound so good! Their shit! Haha nice vid, thumbs up.

  • @andylivingfun hence the name GT = Grass Trimmer...not weed wacker, weed eater, etc...

  • Terrible product. I only had used by Worx GT for two days and the plastic spool cap cracked and snapped off. The reason that they offer the spools for life is that the spool cap, sold only online, doesn't last as long as the spool. Plus, the power is terrible - as the string only cuts through grass, not heavy weeds. Trust me when I say don't buy this!!

  • @Rarrin9378 stil is the way to go, proven performance

  • I don't always use trimmers, But when I do, I prefer Stihl. Stay quality my friends

  • shoulda stayed with an echo trimmer buddy they are worth it.

  • shoulda bought a husqvarna 125l

  • Thanks man. I've noticed that they don't sell them with that battery any more. Now they have the Lithium battery and I'm wondering if they're improved.
