@GrrlCurry This is not the British version. This is an extended single crochet. The British version of the DC is exactly the same as the american version.

@TheHappyperson111 It's very, very faint. It's like someone whispered "that's it". Try hearing it with head phones on. It's super creepy. :(

Thank you so much, ur video was sooo much help for a beginner, it was so mush easier than trying to read instructions, do you have videos out that can be purchased?
-
ok where the heck is the video that shows you hwo to finish the scarf???
-
do you think the double crochet stitch would look nice for a scarf for a man?
-
@calligraphylover <_< that's how I was taught in home ech.
-
can i keep doing a single crochet troughout the entire scarf?

There is some dispute if this is a DC In all of my books this stitch is double crochet. I have had to learn US and UK names for stitches and if I am not sure I check it out on the internet.
There are no "rules" as stitches have different names, check on the internet that's what it's there for. I would personally like to thank you young lady for taking the time to make these video's .
Personally I would like to thank the young Lady for her time.

The British names for stitches are different than the American. She's possibly using the British system? In my crochet book, there is a chart that compares the two. The American slip stitch is the UK's single crochet, the American single crochet is the UK's double crochet, etc. But, I'm just a beginner, what do I know?
