A rare early 80's single featuring Peter Gabriel (once of Genesis) on backing vocals.

Johnny Warman (born 1950s in London) is an English singer-songwriter best known for his 1981 recording "Walking Into Mirrors" and "Screaming Jets".

Actually it is on Hardest Hits Volume 2, by SPG Music Ltd of Toronto. Hardest Hits is collection of early 80s alt music that was very hard to find on vinyl in Toronto when it was issued. The cds are sometimes on Amazon. More to the point, I love this song, and Peter Gabriel is just the piece de resistance

I'm willing to bet Australia was one of the few countries where this was a huge hit. In the 70's and 80's many left of centre classics like this made the top ten on aussie radio.
