Got long winded here ,,,,,,,Also saw Ernie Hall fire his AA/Gas dragster in downtown Cornelius. He was blowing the leaves off the trees with the upswept headers on his hemi. Shit you just can't do now days. It was a great time mid 50's to mid 70's it was a great time. It was a good time to be growing up. Glad to see there are soem that stll appreciate that time. good luck to you guys.

You are so right. Got a chance to see Garlits break 7 in 64-65 can't remeber for sure at Puyallup. We drove up from Forest Grove, Oregon to see that and it was well worth it. Also Ed the Ace McCulloch lived just west of town saw him testing the "Northwind" AA/Fuel on the county road.
