In this July 15, 1979 Speech, Jimmy Carter has a heart to heart with the American people on issues such as energy, greed and the political process.

Many of his predictions about the future have come true today and most of warning and ideas were ignored.

This speech is last time an American President was honest with the American people well in office and it has the power to change the way you perceive Jimmy Carter.

He who speaks the truth will no longer be President...last real President we had. Most people prefered an actor. The start of the down fall for this country. Jimmy Carter had a heart which is sorely missed in present day society.

@Hiraghm A lot more of us lived through it than you'd like, I daresay. President Carter was Naval Command of a nuclear submarine, something you wouldn't know anything about. U r a tool of the slavemasters who used the Iranian hostage situation (George Bush, Sr., went to Paris before the election to negotiate the deal to have them released the afternoon of the inauguration - Iran Contra, remember?) to seat a sad old man suffering from beginning stages of Alzheimer's disease to do their bidding.

A CEO's pay used to be 10 to 20 times more than a entry level worker. Now its grown 300% and the workers has only gone up 1%. A CEO MUST WORK 300 Times harder than a average worker because he gets paid that way.
