Widescreen sucks for monitors. The only thing widescreen is good for is movies, and that's because movies are letterboxed (they're filmed in standard). We're all getting jipped with widescreen.

My full screen is 1600 pixels wide. How wide is your widescreen?

My full screen camera can photograph your widescreen in its entirety plus more height. LMAO
Look at the round lenses on cameras. (Search camera lens and look at your eyes) A round circle, just different heights cropped out. LMAO
Lenses are round, so what's the largest shapes that fit within a circle? LMAO!!!!
