why can the zombies move so fast? is that just on this game or because you are on Very Hard difficulty?

Zombies move faster on the harder difficulties.

well that explains it. they're still pretty slow though.

Certain zombies on certain areas are actually fast zombies from start. Some zombies match the speed of some of the faster characters.

well that's just damn creepy. I could never play this game, mostly because 1. I can barely stand watching people play the first three Resident Evils. 2. I heard they took the online servers down from somewhere, no human backup means I'm screwed.

The AIPCs aren't that good because they can waste ammo, recovery items, and easily get you killed helping them. Also they don't always agree with what you want them to do. The bright note is they do attract the enemie's attention which can make it easy for you to run to another area without trouble.
