Do you really think they are unable to launch an attack on American soil because we have them all tied up in Afghanistan? This war only feeds anti-American sentiment. It only increases the number of people who hate us.
It took us 4 years to defeat Germany and Japan with much less technology. But we have we been in Afghanistan for 8 years.
We can leave, we can stop this un-winnable madness, but we won't because Obama is too worried about getting re-elected.

You realize there are more "terrorists" in the region now, then there were 8 years ago. Each time we blow up civilians we create more people who are anti-American.
Each time we kill someone's son or brother, we produce more people who are opposed to America. Obama has agreed this war is un-winnable. But he is too afraid of the political consequences of pulling out.
What if we leave and the U.S. is attacked again? Everyone blames him. However, Al-Qaeda is a world wide organization.

You know Bush senior lost the re-election because of his ideology. He refused to go in to Iraq when he liberated Kuwait. he forced the Israelians to come to the table with the arabs, even Jim Baker talked trash to then Israeli PM Yizhak Shamir.
And guess what happened at the end? One term President. Neo cons came to Bush The son and told them their agenda and he signed for it and he became 2 term President, unlike his father. Obama is scared to be like Bush senior, you are right.

We are waiting for Obama to take ownership of the presidency. This is not, "The right war." or "a good war." However, Obama doesn't have the spine to do the right thing. As Bill Maher said, he is too worried about getting re-elected. Instead of doing the right thing.
