but voting isn't always a violent act, at the least to those who consent to abide by the vote, and who desire that type of 'system', so what if the solution is to get some folks in office who will change the system to one of peaceful understanding and opt in / opt out construction? To make the violence understood to be only the case when those who want a system of voting/democracy/majority rule force it and impose it upon those who do not agree with the system itself -

To make sense of Gandhian non-violence philosophy and libertarian justice system:
If the aggressor’s right and wrong are twisted around, his polarities are reversed, if what you consider right is wrong for them, and what you consider is wrong is right for them, then there is no way you could win against them by responding to their aggression with more aggression.

Hey guys that was my call. I am no expert about Gandhi, although being a libertarian I had the opportunity to see Gandhi in a light which most statist cannot(even though they may be the biggest supporter of Gandhi or non-violence).
Analyzing Gandhi from a libertarian perspective helped me many paradoxes even Gandhi couldn't figure out(like jews in Nazi germany), or making sense of non-violence with libertarian justice.

Ridley, you don't really think NH is even close to the free est state in the nation do you?
-
NH the Free est state in the nation? Perhaps you should come out west. You will see that you basically live in a totalitarian state.

@piketyl000 : Cool enough... i know even gandhi would ignore it with a smile, so cheer up...

Words have specific meanings.

Considering your user name and the channel you are commenting on I am going to assume that you have an idea of the evils that governments do. If a politician is siphoning off money it will be going to pay for a yacht or something, not for the evils that governments are responsible for.

Corruption is one of the least offensive things that politicians are involved in.
"You cannot use wrong means to achieve right ends." Love it.

@alennna True, but there is still a lot of violence in Somalia. It is because since the govt fell through violent means, the world thinks Somalian people have gotten some really misfortune upon them, so they keep on trying to establish a new govt on it.
On the other hand if Somalians had chosen to eliminate the govt through peaceful means, then no foreign govt would be interested in interfering.
