After many hours of headaches I have finally cracked the level polygon format!

Here is the first level loaded up into 3DS Max.

Not long now before I have my own map viewer program working!

  • @RobertJGowans Hey just to let you know if you have any interest on this game anymore im going to make a mod for it replacing all the sounds and what not.. I have no clue how to get into the textures.. yet. so yeah. If you want I'll keep you updated :D

  • this map would be great for a fps shooting game like wolfteam or combat arms

  • I want to see the first level of house of the dead 1! that would be amazing if you manage to convert it!, i always wanted to explore more the currien mansion and see more far beyond the walls and etc

  • @ElDoomTaco You can never fully recreate something in something else. Buuuut with L4D2 you might be able to get it close enough if you use director forks (idk what it's really called, but I'm referring to the Director's ability to alter the path the players need to take) and some carefully placed crescendo events. Maybe even more tier 1 weapon spawns than tier 2.
