On the contrary, it's a very good idea. You can't put a price on a life and this way EVERYONE will be accountable if they have anything to do with a shooting & criminality involved with it.

I agree that pistol cams are a way of making sure that when officers pull out their weapons, that it is for all the right reasons. Let's just make sure that we don't find that footage on reality shows which are a dominating force in entertainment these days. Reality shows such as Court T.V., Cops, Snapped, Worst Crashes, Police Chases, etc., are creating a blood lust among television viewers. I'd like to see pistol cameras, but with a signed agreement that NYPD will not exploit the footage.
