1998 Buick Regal GS 25-110

Did an impromtu run in my 98 Regal GS tonight, car is stock except for a Fenderwell Intake and the tranny can kiss my ass.

Before any questions are asked about the Check Engine Lights please read:

The two left lights and the bottom yellow light on the right are for a bad wheel speed sensor, which pretty much means traction control doesn't work. The big red light is for the brakes, I've checked them over, nothing appears to be wrong and it brakes just fine. The Low Coolant light is either a bubble in the system or a dirty/bad sensor, both common problems in the car. The top yellow light is the Performance Shift light for the transmission.

do all regal gs's have the performance shift?

@chevyman2013 From like 97-99 there was a button on the shifter and in the later years it went to performance shift automatically when you went WOT.

@badbarada Uh, the supercharger. No exhaust sound, it's stock, you're just hearing the engine.

OK!!! I have the same problem on my GS. I thought something was wrong with my supercharger but i believe that all superchargers make this crappy noise. LOL :D

@badbarada It's not a problem, it's what's supposed to happen when the airflow to the supercharger isn't restricted by the stock air box.  All roots blowers sound like this.

if i take the airbox off will it cause any problems or reduce in mpg?

urbody asks me the same thing cuz i got cold air intake and that supercharger screams, but i got strate pipes with a flowmaster, intercooled, smaller SC pulley, camed, and all that good shit, runs 0 to 60 in 3.8 sec
