What's also important when you interract for the first time with the company you want to get a product from. Tell them what your goal is, why you do it, your background and be honest with your viewers. People could also have blogs where you post your review, many things matter. I had a blog for 2 weeks, and in a Tech Event, i saw the communication manager for HTC, and he said that he could send me a HTC Sensation XL to review. I did, they were satisfied, they didnt want it back.

I always find that using a well constructed email works well, you should spend at least an hour planning and making a great email that shows off what you do which would mean that you are more likely to get products to review.
