@patbreacadh Sorry, I didn't cop on that "Riviera" was the guitar brand... It sounds great! Of course I guess with clean sound, it will never have the air, crispness, and transparency of a strat... so you still need a strat... Still in this clip it's just amazing!

Fantastic sound here. This guitar covers all the pieces you quote here really really well!! Of course your playing is excellent. But what I mean is it's amazing how this axe seems to be able to produce the sound. I want one for X-mas. :-) Is it an actual Gibson 335 or a copy?

@shotgunndunn Always a problem fitting in the guitar when families are concerned. Also strange when a woman asks you to tone up and you go straight to your guitar, I'll never be able to suss them out :D

would you say this guitar gives you a gretsch-ish tone on a budget? i really love that sound but i cant afford a proper gretsch

No more like a ES335 (jazzy wooddy sound) These pups are 57 classics?? to get a good Gretsch sound id get a set of Filter tron pups.
