@audiotrax2000 the XLR out is a direct out of course.

settings???

@audiotrax2000 Meant to say I've had one of these for several years for direct in recording.

I have had one of these and I absolutely love it. So much chunk and grind in an analog pedal. It's become "my" sound;) You do have to be careful though - to me the xlr out totally loses that magic body grind compared to the 1/4 in out. Not sure why this is, but I've read other people saying the same thing. Still, you cannot go wrong with this pedal. It just works and sounds "right" everytime in a mix.

@scusmcsgt so you have to go to a doctor mate.:)

Fuck today I ordered one of these. But now, every vid I saw till now was disappointing. The bass loses his body. It sounds complete powerless. You cannot use this sound in a bandcontext. The thing blew me away in the shop, but now?!

Dont like either.
-
when the pedal is off the bass sounds like dead, flat, at least for me

@GanonPlayingDaBass66 They are designed to be used as DI's into a mixer or computer sound card. Although they have built-in speaker simulation, I personally find the Sansamp products sound just great plugged straight into an amp, and make fabulous-sounding stompboxes.

Sounds like the lows and highs are boosted too far, and the bass sounds like Korn's
TheMbard. I used a device called "Audio Interface" in between my computer and bass. You can connect your guitar/bass to the AI through the normal cable, and USB/firewire cable between AI and computer. Try google to see what it is. I used one from MOTU.
Just fyi. I made the music track on "Garageband" and made a video on "iMovie".
