Original Apple Records #2276 vinyl 45 RPM of "Hey Jude" in it's original MONO MIX form, which is different than the common stereo mix heard today.

The original 45 was only issued in mono.

Debut 9/14/1968
Peaked at #1 for NINE weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

Today, this "oldie" turns up as the #1 favorite as voted on by pop music lovers today. This song has stood the test of time, and even though over 40 years old, still sounds great today!

This is the ORIGINAL MONO MIX as heard when this was a hit on AM radio!

  • You're welcome!

This is also one of the last Beatles dedicated mono mixes before their 45's were released in stereo.

  • Bassmaster970:you're right about that.

  • @wfarrar69 It must be that whoever had the 45 before you (if you bought it used) played Hey Jude way more than revolution. That happens. Adds character!

  • Na, na, na, nananana... nananana... hey, Jude!

  • @J1N256

    Me too.. hurry!

  • Thank you this sounds awesome, love all you guys who upload vinyl versions of songs. Makes me happy and jealous at the same time, LOL

  • There´s something strange, I have The double album 1967-1970(Brazilian vinyl) and listened to the American version, the sound was very different, can anyone explain why?

  • @diddilitli Actually it was Paul and he said effin' hell while John was the one who said wrong chord

  • It sounds good!

  • their biggest hit.got this apple 45.however i play the capitol r.i 45 because the apple version is worn out.but for some odd reason the flip revolution plays fine and not worn out.weird
