  • Does anybody know what kind of guitar this is. Looks like P-90 pickups. Probably very lightweight because of MK's back problem(I can sympathize with him, I have to go to a pain specialist and am now taking high doses of morphine(which I feel like a slave to). Love the solo, but am not yet quite sure what I think about the sound of that guitar. I had a Gibson Blueshawk which I think would be a great lightweight guitar to use. Maybe that sound of that guitar will grow on me.

  • @cooltooth112 Here you can check info about that guitar:

  • Pa mexar y nun 'char gota!!! QUE GUAPAAAAAAAAAA!!!

  • Is MK an Alien, no human can play a guitar like this

  • I think all Mark Knopfler's work is fabulous, but wondered why there are no 'pipes' playing on this track, especially with Mike McColdrick in the band, who is a very accomplished piper.

Long may McCusker and McGoldrick stay in the band, just a fantastic group of musicians who all feed off each other .

  • Thanks for uploading. This is AWSOME!! Great artist and great song!!! Luckily I've seen Mark live in Amsterdam this year.

  • @Deckard6800 thanks, I noticed in his description he stated that Mark played the solos on "Piper To The End" on the bridge pickup which probably gave it a pretty sharp tone. So the writer seemed to notice it too.

I didn't pay any attention to what pickup he was using.
