Stigma is something the NHS need to sort out with there own 'care team' as my boyfriend of 5 years has been showing major sings of bipolar Ups like he's superman no sleep for days works out for far to long and then the downs its like its the end of the world and nothing is worth doing & cuts himself =(.
My Point is the NHS has a Stigma on Mental Health in the words of what we were told 'bipolar is where a women will be lying naked in the street and then go and have sex with five men'

@deckard2034 Hi - we campaign vociferously against inequities in current MH system, I don't think we ever paint a rosy picture as you suggest, and we never say medication is the only answer. We campaign and make statements against lack of provision of talking therapies, over-use of CTOs, cuts, threats to disability benefits, employment inequalities and more. If you have an example of what you are talking about, please post it here and we can discuss it openly. Thanks - Chris@Rethink
