Keta/chum salmon spawning in a beautiful pacific northwest stream running through the forest. It's a amazing that these salmon are returning to the stream in which they were born, after living most of their lives in the ocean. They return to lay their eggs or fertilize them, then die, their carcass feeding the bugs and birds and bears, and decomposing into the forest floor. Seeing this process helps one to understand salmon's important role in the entire ecosystem. Very beautiful. My website is at http://www.Pangeality.com
