@04bstreet word. i live right by tysons. 1 mile from 495. exit 44. BLOWSSSSSS 3rd worst traffic in the US behind L.A. and N.Y.

DC has a beltway. This person is taking HOV-3 on I-95, that's why he is bypassing the terrible traffic. The reason NoVa has such bad traffic is bc the capitol is in Richmond. They take all of NoVa's tax dollars then invest it elsewhere and don't bother to expand the highways around the DC metro bc they don't have to live with it. Meanwhile the population continues to explode. It's been a raging debate for YEARS!

i had to go to richmond, va once...came from miami....what a piece of shit this northern va. hours and hours of stop and go! And what the fuck kind of speeding ticket is this? If you go 75 in a 55, you can get a reckless driving ticket which apparently is a felony in VA and you can go to jail.
NEVER AGAIN, WILL I DRIVE THERE--THANK GOD I'M BACK IN FL!

The traffic around DC is unreal. I have never seen worse drivers in my life! Anything outside of the norm while driving causes either a pile up or an ungodly back-up in traffic! LEARN TO DRIVE NOVA!
