is there any mechanical advantage to putting on the slip on, or is just for cosmetic purposes? Also, if i get the slip on will my bike sound like this?

This is a slip on. and yes you will get more bottom end pull and the sound but if you want better power get a PCIII and a BMC or K&N filter.

The 750 is actually 749cc I'd pick it over the 600 it's the best of both world powerful like a 1000 and handling like a 600.

next door neighbour has the 600 i have the 750, at full throttle i go past him like hes standing still, on the track or on the road. you buy the 600 if you are on a budget. he bought his simply cos the stock wasnt available on the 750. only difference we found so far is the front shocks. one is gold one is black
