We provide many different types of Auslan Classes, they are:
Community Classes
You can attend and learn locally with others in the class and a Deaf teacher. They are held at community centres around Melbourne. They are usually held in the evening, but some classes are held during the day. The classes follow the general school term.
Business or Workplace Classes
Business or Workplace Classes are popular with those who work with Deaf colleagues. We can provide Auslan classes at your workplace.
These classes are also popular for those who have Deaf clients, as they recognize the value to learn Auslan to communicate with Deaf clients.
Weekend Classes
They are held at East Melbourne only and provide a good alternative for people who are unable to learn Auslan during the week. These classes are held over two days.
If you live in a rural area where we don't offer classes, weekend classes might be the perfect way to learn Auslan. Get a group together and we will bring a teacher to you!
To enrol for the Community or Weekend Courses, click the button 'Enrol Online' above and you will see a page with various Auslan levels, times and locations. You can select from the list and enrol.
