@geneiva it's obvious. but the question it's bigger than you think. there is a child, in both sides. they're lost, IN BOTH SIDES. the question is: why? you don't need explain the image or the behavior of people in this situation. we, all of us, should think and answer about our society and our values. and i'm the copywriter of this ad. this it's what I thought when I wrote this film. (and sorry about my english. i'm a poor brazillian guy, hehe)

How can we citizens fo the world improve it with inflammatory comments or derogatory comments? (See comments below).
Isn't the whole point of the video to make us stop and think about how we treat people - children or adults?
-
because white people care

how is he being a hypocrite? its not as if you know that he walks past kids in the street. he was making a good point and if you're too stupid to see it then you're not going to go very far in life

jack40k get some ideals yourself. You're the sort of moron who would leave both kids there or rob one rofl. grow up.

that would never happen in new zealand, here its every humans right to have food and shelter and clothing and medical treatment if a person cant aford a house one is provided if they cant aford food it will be provided, cant aford transport... provided. you have to want to be homeless in new zealand to actually be homeless. and my god a child even in that state WITH a parent would be helped immidietly let alone by its self. man it must suck living in other countries knowing people wont care 4 u

There's a really simple answer of why we do so, the truth still sucks though. We think the well off boy is lost or running away from home, we are willing to help them back home/to their parents because he was simply lost. We think the 'poor' boy as being poor the whole time and has dealt with being poor everyday, we weren't really taught/shown how to approach poor people besides giving them money. You can't really ask where their parents are or where they are meant to be. Still sucks though...
