Portal2NationalExile(lemmings)

Created for Portal2/The National video contest by Blood From a Turnip, which is Bolt Swiftpace and friends, including the band, THE FINDELLS. Filmmakers for this project are Hunter Moyé, Allan Moyé, Craig Snodgrass, and a host of friends on and off screen. We're big fans of the National and had a blast making this. We wanted to keep everything original. Shot on Canon 7D in a marathon shoot over 2 days. Animation didn't seem to fit so we opted for a little René Magritte instead. We hope you enjoy it. Thanks for the compliment. Many viewers have mentioned that it takes multiple viewings to absorb this video. Although there is a loose narrative and intended mystery (like this and many songs by THE NATIONAL), I'm content with and would welcome any subjective interpretation. In any case, I'm happy that it is at least, entertaining. Music videos often seem to solidify images to great songs. I hope ours does not. I would rather inspire the imagination.
