  • do you think they are semi-arboreal? mine keeps going to the side of her enclosure

  • @linuxpowerification No in my experience they stay on the ground but will venture up something if the substrate is wet, they dont like water unless its from a drinking bowl :)

  • @Casparspointofview

but the substrate isnt wet,and she keeps going to the side of her container :x

  • @linuxpowerification hmm weird, well each T usually has its own personality, in the video you can see i have small branches and leafs all over her enclosure, she allways move around with it putting it in new places, try giving yours some of that maybe she is just unhappy with the enclosure, i assume you use the right substrate(coco the same as most of us use) so my advise would be give her some small branches, leafs, small stuff for her to build/"play" with maybe that helps.

  • @Casparspointofview

Yeah im using the right substrate, and he has plenty of room, his the coolest tarantula i have,he never tried to bit me or shoot hairs, but his kind of hyperactive i will add some stuff for him to climb

  • @linuxpowerification Well if its a MALE it could explain why he was climping, could be he is mature and want to go look for a female, that´s what males do :)

And yes they are very cool T´s this sp.

  • @linuxpowerification other than that i dont really know, i have owned a few of these sp. but none ofthem have ever gone on the wall ONLY when the enclosure got to humid :)
