This song is a genuine classic , in the 'soul' mode....I used to think it was an ex Marvin Gaye song , or something . But a better listen at the lyrics now suggest some are perhaps rather 'Alex'. The band was a bit Motown influenced. Who wrote this ?
Got a bit of a start in the middle when I thought Alex was going into another one of his famous long onstage sermons . But it's only a brief bit of audience involvement . Top stuff.
