a barrel brush and my hair, would just be asking for a huge tangled mess. it never worked well for me when I was relaxed, and it certainly won't work now that I'm natural.
although I now currently use a Denman brush when straightening, which works much better than the comb. =)

@15tvylps nope. when i had relaxed hair i used eggs & mayo to strengthen it... worked great ^__^

@15tvylps no. nothing strips a perm out of ur hair. the chemical alteration of a perm is just that - PERMANENT. what it does is help fill in the protein bonds that perms/relaxers break down ;)
