Their Comanders Generals are Applied Inadequate Strategy...etc.

Also Their (Iraqy) planes were the second and third generation, and all were export versions.

(Take for example R-40 missiles for MiG-25P ,export version has a range of 30 km and

Soviet version have 60 to 80km,depending of version).

Export Mig-25 have RP-25 Smerch radar (vaccum tube electronics from 60's)

And soviet Mig-25PD have newer RP-25MN Saphir from the late 70's.

But they were already obsolete.

In the 90's ,Russia already had in the arms mig-31BM and Not Mig-25 :)

Mig-35 Zhuk-A radar AESA (FGA-35),detection range of 200 km for 5m2 RCSEngage 8 targets and Track 60 targets.

Su-35 IRBIS-E AESA Radar have max range of 400+Km

(Detect 0.01m2 RCS at ranges out to 90 kilometers),Track 30 Targets

and Attack 12 Targets simultaneously!

F-15SE Silent Eagle with APG-82 AESA radar have ranges of 200Km for 5m2 RCS, Attack 6 targets and Track 15 targets.

@odzadze123 the thing with AESA is that it can fry most SAM computers rendering them useless, so any air defence Russia or America aswell put in can just be cooked, thats the problem when your enemy have the same technology :L
