And now the Irish Government under Enda Kenny is considering reopening the Vatican embassy. How can those bastards have such short memories? I hope people are outraged at the very thought of it and they make their voices heard.

1987 the Vatican took out
a liability insurance for clergy abuse to stem any future financial loss.
They knew very well what was going on.

The Christian Brothers order had horrific abuse claims (proven) against them in Newfoundland, Canada, as well, in the 1980's, and once again, Canadian bishops etc. just transferred them to other places in Canada.
This is one order that needs to be permanently shut down.
All of the Irish orders need to sell whatever properties they own, and pay restitution to the living victims. Who will remember all the victims, now dead, who were never believed?
