Another year had passed, and I was talking to someone on the phone about how much I missed her. Suddenly and briefly the unmistakeable scent of Tweed filled the room. I am never sure if it was her or my own mind that sparked that experience.

a few years back i walked into the kitchen to make brekfast when i saw a little boy standing at the cupboard

he opened the door and went in i walked over and he was gone my mum also noticed somthing strange big thick doors would open by them self's and lauchter and foot steps could be herd also when my brother was a baby his toys would move when he was still asleep. thanks :P

That was wonderful. It's good that you've made the previous occupant happy. It would be cool if you could find a picture of the teacher, just to see if it matches what you saw. (Ie, would the school still have records or year books of her?).

Oh and you're right. Intention is the key word (and it's a big thing in Buddhism for example).

Wanna hear something strange?? I don't believe in ghosts....but.....I have seen one. I have been present when definite, absolutely definitely Impossible things have happened, and as I said, encountered one face to face. Yet I do not believe in "ghosts".
