I filmed this in 1967 when I was 14. I wanted to make a record of the ending of steam engines working on British Railways.

  • I'm a Belgian member of two British train sites: Railword World tv of which I am the admin for the group"railways worldwide" and Steam tube.Could I use these clips for a compilation I'm planning to put on these two sites.I will certainly mention the source!

  • @darkelfproductions .. ohh.. us kids of the time knew them off by heart.. 34034 Honiton, 34077 603 Squadron, 34088 213 Squadron, 35007 Aberdeen Commonwealth.. to name but a few..

  • @zelo1954 ..and did you notice that on the occasion of 34102 slipping that 34023 was in the station too and so close to the end of steam..

  • A brilliant 26 minutes' worth over the 3 clips. I went through the lot and tried to identify as many locomotives as I could. Here goes:
