I do not use my TV for live streams... Yet I get very aggressive letters from this bogus institution threatening all sorts. After a lot of discussion with friends and family (with mixed results of fear and foreboding)... I thought... SOD IT... Let's really see what they are made of!

  • At the end of the day... I don't watch the BBC programs therefore I dont want to pay for them.

If I don't watch TV and get a barrage of letters, threats etc... Then I'm within my lawful rights to take my position. Peace

  • Just ignore these goons. I deliver these letters (threat-o-grams-) everyday. They are computer generated mail. Everything you said is true these scum has no power. There are no such thing as TV detector vans just BBC propaganda.

  • I do not open the letters anymore. As I do not own a TV, and I only watch the iPlayers or TV shows here on Youtube, I have nothing to worry about. They cannot take me to court because obviously, there is no evidence of a TV at my address. When the TV License guys knocks on my door, I just say; "If you can prove that I have a TV, I will happily pay for a License" That makes them think that you have one, and I hope they waste time sitting outside my house in a van. Fun and games :)

  • this is an 045 no this costs you money so dont answer it.

  • let them fund themselfs fat cats

  • @JUNAID187 Plenty more where this from Junaid. The end cometh for the scum from tv licensing.

  • I've heard old people on local radio, who do not have TV's getting hassled left, right and centre by these idiots

  • Just dont pay it. You are under no obligation to pay for a tv licence.

  • You cut it off just as it was getting interesting lol

  • @ws1a37 They were up at my door 2 months ago. I ignored them. I watched them thru the spyhole knocking doors asking questions. Probably to get naive people to give information on me. Disgusting. Then I get the letters all over again threatening to come up. They have been opening an investigation on this flat since 2008. I know the previous tennants. The whole thing's a joke when you know how to handle it.

  • @junekentucky lol :)

  • @Noodles37UK hehe, I have the phone and address of a police station I use whenever I buy stuff in Kentucky, let them deal with the spam mail.
