16:23, the director showing all of them exactly what to do and explaining it. Then go look at the prequel filming where Lucas says we'll add it all in later and then goes and sits behind his big tv screens while the actors walk around aimlessly on a green screen

14:08 and the next few minutes are why the prequels failed. no subtly, no real emotion, no immersion, no direction.
-
And it still looks more realistic than Attack of the Clones.

@jeanfulx: He'd probably have painted the Ewoks blue. :-p

seems hard to estimulate the kid's imagination & creativity these days, when the making of everything is so quick, cold, easy ...and less original. The success of this saga was in part because the innovation in the concept and the experimental spirit, back in time... many of the legendary effects here come accidentaly and become great ideas, that's the way the human expand his horizon, I think. The computers are great tools, just that ...they cannot create nothing (sorry for my english)

44:40 Holy shit thats awesome.

surely the worst script ever written for a special effects film.

i would love to have all the original handmade models of all the ships .. especially the falcon.. i wonder how much the originals would go 4 .. there probably stored in an archive .. prolly worth a fortune..
Alright! I saw this when I was probably 8 or 9, back in the mid 80s. It inspired my best friend and I to make our own claymation film. Thanks a million for posting this! Now I'm in my 30s and sending this to my son, who is a kid that enjoys making stop motion movies with is Legos. :)
