@6262742 I do find some tops can open this way, but not all. Maybe it depends on the can opener too. For days I've been trying to open a R. W. Knudson jar of juice and my wrist still hurts from the effort. They should really pass a law! Some pop-open jars are so easy to open. Clearly it's possible to vacuum seal a jar and make it easy to open. The responsibility should be on the company. I wonder how old people or invalids open these jars. I tried hot water, a rubber clamp, etc.

@ttJinn First, use your brain power. Second, use your muscle and if all fails, then smash the jar. Hehe!

Thanks, it worked. I too believe there's no need for muscle to get things done.

@TheSandysns You're welcome everybody!

.. jesus.. you're making it too difficult.. just run the cap of the jar under steaming to boiling water for like 60 seconds.. and you can open it..

@student908065 Have you ever tried it? Very easy and there's no waste of water or heat. But if you already know an easy way, why waste your time looking for another?

Unfortunately only serrated (not perfectly round) caps allow that. And there's no need to do it all round; just on clip will pop open the jar enough to allow the rest to open with a regular twisting motion so the top.cap is still usable. Thanks 4 video.

@Richard40171 I do it three times to demonstrate how it works (more dramatic and make it a little longer video). I usually do it once or only stop after I hear the popping sound. As you can see in the video, the top is not serrated and is not unusable after opening. Thanks for visiting.
