  • Chinesemunk is right!! These are great for water landings. I will try it out with my helicopter too!!!

  • food sealer?? they work like magic :D

  • If a heli looked like that .........i'd have to get it examined it by someone at AREA51;)

  • very smart.. good for when u want to do water landings. just a thought, lol. but good idea.

  • and do they float?

  • dude what state do you live?

  • you can also use this method for cutting foam peices for depron of foamies or even foam wing parts,

it only works for a few inches and if you have a big cutting job then use a longer wire and add another soldering irin to the oposit end

we used this for a cheap home built foam cutter

worked a treat and should work to seal the float too, :)

  • if you dont have a sealer you can try an old trick i used in the early years of modeling,

unscrew the soldering nib and insert a peice of piano wire or an old flybar aslong as the length is the same size or longer than the peice you wanna seal,

screw it in the place the soldering nib goes then heat up the soldering iron then place the wire over the part to be seald, and pres down with a heat resistaint object , a few secs later take it of and viola done!

  • i dont have a sealer can i just melt it with a soldering iron and then let it dry????
