We got off work, sat in traffic for over an hour, and saw The X-Files 2 at Grauman's Chinese Theater in LA; which is, apparently, "the most famous theater in the world." We'll look into that.

As always, our reviews are unscripted and improvised.

  • Let me start off by saying, I loved the X-files. I thoroughly enjoyed X-Files the movie. But this 2nd film is too little, too late. It's plot is not deserving of the big screen. It's has everything, the right actors but a story that lacks real inspiration. It lacks the grandeur and scope of the first movie, which I watch all time time on DVD. It's a shame. I would have given anything to have had a crack to write it, had I known it would be so terrible. It's a "small" story... told poorly.

  • @ncrb73 I disagree, I really liked this movie. The X-Files wasn't about telling epic stories like Hollywood does.

  • @esotericsean , Hollywood or not, if you liked the X-Files the movie, which I and lots of people did, then they did something "more right." Commercialism is often mistaken for uninspired or clichéd writing, when in fact, blockbusters or big successes are sometimes just that, they touch a universal chord. Just my opinion.

  • Dude no.

    That movie is crap.

  • 100%! You are 100% right on!! I loved this movie - I'm glad you guys did too!!

  • i have to say ive seenallot of x files episodes and about every single one is better than the new movie the first 1 was so better

  • This Movie Sucked

  • So. Just back from watching X-Files. The movie wasn't as bad as critics made it out to be, in fact I can go as far as saying I enjoyed it. I just don't think it's a movie you have to go to the cinema to see, you'd enjoy it just as much on DVD...
