@budda100001 Blame the Germans and the Serbians for WW1. Britain only got involved because Germany's response would have ruined the balace of power in Europe. If you are saying that WW1 could be avoided, then you are right. But if you are saying WW1 was fought for fun among Europeans, you are a fucking imbecile.

@TheLiberalKnight WW1 was a war between European empires started over a rather obscure event. How much honor is there in millions dead over a war of machismo. Wars to oppose dangerous ideologies sure.... Wars to secure access to vital resources ok... wars for the hell of it(WWI) I dont get. All WW1 did was succeed in devastating Europe's global power and setting up the pre-req's for round 2(ww2). I suppose it did benefit non-euro's attempts at rebellion.

@TheStig795 What wars did the U.S bail Britain out of?? I seem to remember during the Great War the Germans were attack America by Land & Sea yet the Americans would not dare stand up. The US missed 95% of the war and arrived when the Allies were winning and Ottoman Empire defeated,Austro-Hungary wanted peace and Germany last attempt to break the Allies had failed in disaster. Also WW2 Britain was safe 1940 and winning in Africa,Mid-East and Soviets eased the pressure result!!

Britain's empire was the most liberal empire in history. Contrary to popular belief, we didn't enslave anyone (we were enslaving Africans until 1806 when we banned slavery, before anyone else did). If an African was mistreated by the British, they could report it to a newspaper, the newspaper would reach London, and the house of Commons would do something about it.

Fortunately, some decisions in our country that forced Japan to attack us, would mobilize America to become a military super power. I'll let you say that America didn't save Britain. But you must admit that it would have been a shit ton harder getting off your rock without us. And Britain might have conquered a decent chunk of the world, but you might not want to be so proud of your country's sins. *cough* India
