Perception is a path to awakening. The Buddha said all it really takes is to perceive in the right way - this will take you all the way to awakening. We can change and develop our perceptions.

  • Thank you so much Venerable. This teaching was so very amazing and so vital to someone who truly wants to follow the Path. Without this right preception progress on the Path will be extremely difficult as we will continually be set back by the khandas. I am seeing this in action, being mindful of each preception as it arises naturally. This plus the book I am reading right now, by Ajan Cha: Food for the Heart, I am truly blessed. Thank you... Metta

    Sadhu Sadhu Sadhu

  • thank you. piece to everybody.

  • thank you very much :))

  • Much harder to follow than Ajahn Brahms talks but I don't mind watching two to three times to catch all the knowledge within. Sadhu Sadhu Sadhu!

  • Thanks for the talk everyone.

  • It is very difficult to cut attachment. The 8 noble path only helps but it really takes a lot of effort from an individual to achieve it. I heard from a monk that it is too difficult to cut attachment by doing meditation and the easier way is to avert one's attention whenever one's mind start tto think about things that leads to desire and attachment by repeating certain mantras.

  • your lectures are profound, keep it up Mister.
