Ah, brings back memories, especially the trauma I had that right after the credits I turned it off then on again only to see this haunting message:
"Your previous data has been corrupted, we apoligies for inconvenience"
That haunted me for the rest of my childhood, and because of that I no longer play pokemon anymore. I just hope the new ones are much more secure when it comes to data.

They should do a remake for R/S/E & FR/LG, my favourite is Emerald, it would be great if they really remake it.

Man. Memories are just flying back! Pokemon was a great thing to play as a kid, and it is still fun now! I just wish that some people would open their eyes and realize the greatness of childhood games!

I got my Sapphire game when I was... About five? And my sister got her Ruby game about the same time (she was seven). I finished my Sapphire game when I was about six! And it's only taken me about a month to re-do and complete my sisters Ruby game :3

I have completed my Sapphire game and my sister's Ruby game and I've got got though Victory Lane in Emerald.
The song is lovely, I keep beating the champion with my level 100 pokemon on Sapphire to hear that tune<33

20 years old im a hardcore battlefield 3 player and yet i still got a pang of nostalgia just recently. Not having a gameboy anymore i got an emulator booted up and soon i was back in 2004 in highschool playing this.
Even got my old crew together, surprisingly not too different from yours; Gardevoir, Magneton, sceptile, and rayquaza. Cept i also brought gyarados and armaldo with me.
Here i am shipping to bootcamp on the 14th, yet still my childhood calls me...funny how life works huh?

@daasianboi thanks for the regards man, leaving to the hotel with a fellow poolee tomorrow at 1600 (4pm). Im actually back into pokemon now thanks to this series of events, not much but enough to appreciate it again. Might even get a DS when i get back (it'll have to compete with ME3 though lol).
