I love this song a lot. This performance is lip sync though.

Right, back in 1977 you either had to bring the entire band on, and pay them, or have the artist lip sync. Background music tracks were very very rare.

That lady is not Dame Edna, it's VIRGINIA GRAHAM. She went on to have her own very popular talk show. I was newly married with a little girl so I was fortunate to be able to watch her. She was so funny and voiced her opinion on everything. I loved her out spoken personality. But yet she was never rude.
