There is no help with the luggage or taxi assistance (the road to Frant is highly dangerous)

And yet, this is what their website (networkrail.co.uk) boasts:
"Safety is at the forefront of everything we do
The Network Rail Health & Safety Management System refers to the processes in place to deliver our health and safety objectives control health &safety risks. The system follows industry best practice in the management of safety and is consistently applied across our company"

well i'm middle aged, so i ant got no problems.
anyway,if you can't carry a bike up and down stairs from time to time then you have a problem, get in touch with your EU leader and Brussels will spend 2.4 million of tax payers money talking about the problem.x

@theheathmould - The problem with this one is that it is much higher than usual, as if there is no limit. So children and the elderly 'have a problem' if they can't carry their bikes up immense stairs and they have no lift to use either? It is no wonder there are so many cars on the road at Wadhurst, and people find it hard to get car parking at Wadhurst if only 'strong' male cyclists are allowed to use the train station.

It looks bad alright,if this was the Netherlands they would put in a Cycle Lift.Where you could put the Wheels of the Bike on a moving Escalator. This is all very Victorian still nothing changes in these Islands.

@sunnyjoe66 - it is good to know what they do in European countries like the Netherlands. There appears to be no height restriction whatsoever for people with heavy luggage or those who have bikes. They say that people can carry these on their trains in their policy but in reality it is pretty dangerous to do so. The Victorians could have done a lot better as bikes were around in the Victorian times, imagine carrying a penny farthing up here!
