  • Very good, but you should have used the White Ensign. The Blue one belongs to the Merchant Marine.

    actually, we had several thousand troops stationed in Vietnam after 1956ish because the West was not confident that the North would abide by the Geneva Convention and i) hold free elections ii) leave the South alone.

    So we were there, actually, as peace keepers of the South from a rather aggressive northern government. we were /not/ of belligerent status, however, and thus declared no war.

  • @ComradeMr I would like to correct you on the matter that the Royal Canadian Navy did not partake in the Vietnam War, Australia was in the Vietnam War, not Canada nor its navy.

  • This navy fought in the stupid Vietnam War and has a cheery anthem. WTF!
